Nurse Plus to hold Charity Cake day

One of the companies which leases a serviced office from us, Nurse Plus, is holding a charity cake day on Wednesday October 21st. This is part of this national company’s support of Kevin Herbert who will be the first solo paraplegic to ever attempt the Enduroman Arch to Arc challenge. He will take this on in July 2016.

In 2003, Kevin suffered a motorbike accident which left him paraplegic with no movement from the chest down. Nurse Plus, on the first floor, is raising money towards Kevin’s JustGiving and CrowdFunding pages. As well as cakes, there will also be games, raffles and other events on the day. Kevin will be raising money for the UK Stem Cell Foundation in his Arch to Arc Challenge. He will set off from London’s Marble Arch to the Dover coast and then, after completing that 87-mile distance in his racing wheelchair, he will swim across the English Channel to the French coast, doing backstroke. Then he will ‘finish’ this gruelling three-part challenge with a 181-mile hand bike ride from Calais to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

On top of raising money, Kevin needs to raise money for the specialist kit to complete this challenge. You can follow Kevin’s progress on Facebook or Twitter . All are welcome to come to our fully serviced offices at Worth Corner Business Centre, Crawley, to support his great cause.

Happy Client Says

“Netkandi Ltd first arrived at Worth Corner in 2013 taking a small 2 person office on the first floor, very quickly we out-grew F7 and moved up a floor t S6, although a quieter and better sized office with good facilities along the corridor, however we once again found that before another year was up we had a need to expand our team and more space was needed to allow our thriving company to develop. The ideal location suits us well and we felt no need to move so we thought we would try a floor we hadn’t yet inhabited and moved to the spacious light and airy G10 – ground floor, where we have quickly settled in and spread-out. The team at worth Corner have helped to make this a seamless transition with their friendly and flexible attitude.”
